This notice explains what personal data Animated International Services Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects through anim8edstudios.com, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data controller under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

We do not collect payment card details. Card payments, when offered, are handled by Flutterwave on its own secure pages.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and similar tools
- Google Analytics sets cookies that measure visits and how people use the site.
- Jetpack Stats (Automattic) counts page views and visits.
- YouTube videos on the Resources page may set cookies when you play them.
- WordPress and WooCommerce set cookies needed for logins and the shop to work.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without analytics cookies.
Who we share data with
We never sell personal data. We share it only with providers that run parts of the site or our work for us:
- Google (Analytics, Gmail, Google Drive file delivery)
- Automattic (Jetpack security, statistics, backups and Akismet spam filtering)
- Meta (WhatsApp, when you message us there)
- Flutterwave (card payments, when offered)
- Our website host and backup storage
- Professional advisers and government agencies, where the law requires it
Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria, including in the United States and the European Union. We rely on their contractual and security safeguards for these transfers, as the NDPA allows.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: 2 years from our last contact.
- Project, purchase and accounting records: 6 years, as Nigerian company law requires.
- Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: no more than 14 months.
Your rights
Under the NDPA you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it, unless we must keep it by law
- restrict or object to how we use it
- send it to you or another organisation in a common format
- stop using it where you gave consent
Email animated.i.s.ltd@gmail.com with your request. We may ask you to confirm who you are, and we will respond within 30 days. Allow at least three working days for a first reply.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, login protection, spam filtering and regular backups. Project files are kept in password-protected accounts. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the Commission as the law requires.

We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top.
